About Bacteriostatic Water
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, which allows a sealed vial to be accessed more than once, unlike single-use sterile water.
