About Triptorelin
Triptorelin is a synthetic decapeptide analogue of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It acts as a GnRH receptor agonist — initially stimulating and, with continued exposure, desensitising GnRH receptors to reduce LH/FSH secretion in research models.
Triptorelin: research context
- GnRH receptor agonism and desensitisation research
- LH/FSH suppression and HPG axis studies
- Reproductive hormone regulation research
- GnRH agonist comparative pharmacology
Storage and handling of Triptorelin
Store lyophilised peptide at −20°C, protected from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, store at 4°C and use within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to preserve integrity.
